Celebrating Traditions, Changing the World

Get to know our Sisters! You may be surprised how diverse our personalities, talents and interests are, yet we have Franciscan joy and a passion for ministry in common. So many different ways to express our neighborly love! We invite you to spend some time with us to learn more about the Franciscan way of life, way of love, way of being!  Chat with Sister Maria at 815.464.3873, or send an email to maria.brizuela@fssh.net, to ask questions or to set up a visit. In the meantime, you can begin to explore here: https://www.fssh.net/vocation-discernment and here: https://www.fssh.net/vowed-journey. We look forward to meeting you!

Viviane received into Postulancy

With great joy we share the following with all the Sisters and Associates. On February 21, 2021, we welcomed the young Viviane Vieira de Sousa into another stage of formation in the Postulancy. She entered  generously and with freedom of heart said “yes” to our congregation and her desire to go deeper into religious life. Her courage and lightness enchants and motivates us to always trust the call that God makes to each individual, who is to be held as a person and is to be an instrument of his peace. Viviane recognizes God present in her and wants with joy and simplicity to share with us her life and mission. Due to COVID-19's sanitary restrictions, the celebration was restricted to only our presence and her parents and sister. We all take care so we can one day hug and mingle as usual.
