Our Ministries

Our ministries were defined by our founder, Father Wilhelm Berger, as "works of neighborly love." They are carried out in several locations where Sisters live together in convents:

In today's Church we serve in:

Health Care

* in hospitals, clinics, home health programs, * support programs for pregnant teens and social service programs

Education

* teachers * administrators * librarians * religious education coordinators * campus ministers * directors of university programs

Parish Ministry

* liturgists * pastoral associates * youth ministers * parish program coordinators

Diocesan Ministry

* Diocesan Chancellor * Marriage Tribunal Advocate

Retreat Ministry

We bring the presence of Christ to others through retreat ministry and college campus ministry.

Foreign Missions

We minister among the base communities of the Amazon area of Brazil, South America (see photo at right).

Ministry to the Poor

We reach out to society's poor and neglected through directing or collaborating with agencies/organizations that exist for this purpose.

“The Church: The Great Schism and the Reformation”

The Church has gone through great difficulties over these 2000 years: a break between the Western church (Rome) and the Eastern church (Constantinople), two, or even three, Popes at one time, and the division of Christians in Europe during the sixteenth century, to mention a few. How did the Catholic Church prevail, reform, and remain faithful to Jesus Christ?
