This “Sinners Bell” was brought from Germany by our first Sisters. 

 

During the initial year of our Congregational commitment to work towards the abolishment of the Death Penalty, the sinners bell at the Motherhouse was rung each evening at 5:00 p.m. on the day of an execution. 

We continue to pray for those executed each month and for all participating in the executions.
