Honoree for the 2010 Franciscan Federation Conference

It is my privilege to announce that at the July 2010 Franciscan Federation Conference Banquet we celebrated Sister Kathleen Anne Copp and her living out of the theme “Passionately Embracing Gospel Living.”

Thank you, Sister Kathleen Anne, for your exemplification of what it means to be a Franciscan Sister of the Sacred Heart in all you say and do.
Sister Judith Plumb

Several sisters spoke of her:
·   humility in accepting the human condition
·   faithfulness to prayer and Sabbath living
·   openness to continual conversion
·   use of her gifts to help build up others to be their best selves
·   work with those in initial formation, teaching the value of transparency
·   seizing life with both hands, ready to soak up the bounty of God
·   living poverty and going wherever called in communal relationship
·   facing the challenges of living Gospel values
·   ability to “be in the present moment”
