Why We Feel Called …
In the following, some of our Sisters share a brief but profound statement that expresses how they live out their call as Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart. As a continuing response to the call to religious life they heard, in some instances years ago, they daily give voice to this deep belief through their lives of prayer and service.
I invite you to not simply read, but rather take time to ponder their reflections. Perhaps their passion will resonate in your heart, or even better, your heart might be moved to a greater openness to, appreciation for or acceptance of the Spirit’s movement in your own personal lives This is our heartfelt prayer for you.
Finally, as St. Francis would say, we wish you peace!
